Class RCWa

We have had 27 new children start the school in January. They are settling in very well and enjoying making new friends. In our classroom we are learning about space. The first destination on our travels into space was the moon. Here, we watched the first landing on the moon and talked about the effect of a smaller gravitational pull.

Our next stop on our trip is the sun, the nearest star at 93, 000, 000 miles. We will be looking at why the sun is so important to us, as well as its position in the solar system.  After our visit to the sun we shall be visiting each of the planets in our solar system, looking at the similarities and the differences between them.
