![]() Year 2 Class CF Class CF have been preparing for the weather getting colder by making our own scarves. We have been investigating the properties of wool and have been able to feel and smell fleece as it is after the sheep has been sheared. Each week the children practise reading their books to the class. They make sure they can read every word before hand and try to read with expression. Some children like to ask questions about the story and others enjoy showing the pictures. They all enjoy wearing the microphone and their round of applause at the end. ![]() We have been learning about life in Africa and have been comparing our lives with the lives of children in Ethiopia. We have painted some beautiful watercolour paintings of Ethiopian scenes and have been creating clay mud huts in the art studio.

In class AC we have been learning about space. Our work on astronauts was great fun-we even tried some real astronaut food! We tested and made balloon rockets and space mobiles and carried out Neil Armstrong interviews too. We have also explored light by designing and making our own sundials and electrical circuits.
