Our emphasis is very much on enabling children to feel confident trying out another language and to begin to express themselves in French. We learn through such things as reading stories together in French, playing games, singing songs, and using the internet. The main aim of the club is to excite pupils about French as a second European language and to introduce them to some of France’s cultural similarities and differences through language.  

Among other things, pupils have been learning to meet and greet each other, introduce themselves, count in French, describe parts of the body, colours, and days of the week… The children have been hard at work singing and playing lots of interactive games!
